If you own a windows phone 7 smartphone then there is a newly available app that provides the main functions of the E6B 'whizz-wheel' computer.
Enter wind details, desired track (true or magnetic) and TAS and the required heading and ground speed is calculated. Enter distance and fuel consumption and time and fuel requirement is calculated. Also calculates fuel weight, runway wind components and density altitude.
Conversion between various common flying units can be performed and preferred units can be entered.
The app is available from the Windows Phone 7 Marketplace.
