Each user is assigned a specific authority level which defines or limits what they are allowed to do. The following levels (from lowest to highest) are defined:-
As the name suggest this only allows read access, they cannot make any changes. Basically they can only see the bookings diary.
Can make bookings but cannot be the subject of any booking. Can upload documents. Can add links. Can view reports. Can add log entries. Can contact other users.
Can be the subject of a booking, can watch bookings
Can subscribe to iCal calendars.
Can change aircraft details for example costs and warnings. Can amend/delete any booking. Can maintain contact groups. Can make notes about aircraft defects. Can delete any uploaded documents. Can maintain folders for uploaded documents. Can delete any links.
Can Lock and Unlock log entries. Can maintain users. Can amend aircraft WAB details. Has complete control over all aspects of the syndicate. There can be several users setup with controller authority.
Irrespective of authority levels a user with sufficient authority to add bookings can add a booking for anybody. A booking can be amended/deleted by the owner of the booking AND by the person who originally created the booking. In a similar way links and documents can be amended/deleted by the user who originally created it even if they do not have admin rights.
An individual member can set under their details that anybody can change their bookings in which case their bookings can be changed by anybody, otherwise their bookings can only be changed by themselves, the person that originally made the booking or an admin user
You can test what options are available at each user level by going to the switch level page.
